.:Plays, plays… and more plays!!:.

Well that was a fabulous break, and I was stuck on my R.I. but I seem to be okay at the moment. I’ve written mostly everything, I just want to write more with the aid of visual materials. I have found out that you are allowed to draw these, which is very benefitial to me as I am now able to give supporting materials for my research investigation. I handed in my PPP. I feel good now that it is over :) I enjoyed that section of theatre, it was great to see my creative side come out. Now I am focused back on my R.I., and after this, my IPP.  :)

Today in theatre we spent a lot of time talking about our research investigations and our need to see more theatre productions! We all want to see more, not just because we love them, but because we feel that it is always benefitial for us to see both amatuer productions and professional productions to create a contrast between the two for out TPPP. We are really on track in theatre  :) So, here are the plays we have decided to see. I do not know much about many of them, but I am sure once I have read the reviews, I will be able to either disagree or agree with the critic.

Next Wednesday- Wiked. A big production, it has been playing here in Melbourne for many months. I have already seen this production but am willing to see it again to look more at the technical aspects.

13/8/2009- We are watching an amatuer production of Grease which is being performed at a local high school.

14/8/2009- Watching Knives in Hens. Not quite sure what this is about, but looking forward to seeing it!

22/8/2009- I am familiar with most of Shakespeare’s more famous plays, but I did not recognise that Pericles was one of his. I am always interested in looking how actors, managers and producers create shows orignally by Shakespeare, especially in terms of the language.

So, it is definately a busy 3 weeks for us all, but I feel it’ll be a great big learning curve :) Hopefully my R.I. will be finish extremely soon. Then looking forward to the IPP :)
